Happy Aquarium increases free pearls for leveling up

Happy Aquarium rewards level up with more pearls
It used to be that you get one Pearl for each level you gained in Happy Aquarium, but that changed yesterday. To get a sense of how high the game has jacked the rewards -- I got 45 Pearls for leveling up to 35! And Brandy from Frisky Mongoose got 16 Pearls for reaching Level 23. Lower level players reported no changes. So far, the response from fans have been positive, so Crowdstar is asking fans to vote up their game on its official Facebook fanpage.

Keep in mind, Pearls are a premium currency in the game, so they'd normally cost real world money to acquire.

New FarmVille Add a Neighbor Pop Up

FarmVille wants to be sure you've added all your neighbors!

FarmVille Add a Neighbor Pop Up

Tonight a new message started popping up on FarmVille asking farmers to add Facebook friends who play FarmVille that are not currently their neighbor. This is certainly a useful tool for those who have not checked their neighbor tab in a while!

Neighbors are essential to FarmVille for various reasons including Free gifts, Barn Raising, Fertilizing Crops among many many other bonuses such as Mystery Eggs and Foals.

How many FarmVille neighbors do you have?

Free Fuel for FarmVille Email Users!

Some FarmVille farmers received a popup tonight asking them to sign up for two weeks of free fuel! Some farmers who enabled the email feature should be receiving daily free fuel emails for two weeks.

You will receive 1 email a day for the next two weeks containing free fuel. Make sure you claim your offer quickly because each fuel bonus expires within a day. (24 hours)

To participate in this feature, you must be level 12 or above.

The best part of this special promotion? You can get up to 3 tanks of fuel each time!

Country Story embraces Roman architecture with My Empire items

It's rather common in Facebook games to see a developer releasing items in one game that take on the theme of another game of theirs. Tonight, Playfish has done this very thing by releasing a small set of My Empire themed items in Country Story. Roman items on a farm? Not too far fetched actually - Roman architecture is used to influence many different styles of buildings. And who would turn down beautiful Roman columns? Certainly not us. Here is the list of the new limited time My Empire decorations.

Cupid Statue - 20,000 coins
Lion King - 60,000 coins
Roman Archway - 5,000 coins
Roman Fence 1 through 6 - 5,000 coins each

The most interesting piece here is certainly the Lion King, which is a previous little lion with a shield riding a cute horse. We're not sure exactly how it will fit in our farm atmosphere, but hey - it's cute. At this point in time we're not sure if more My Empire themed items are coming or how long these limited time decorations will last. Hop on over to Country Story and check them out.

FishVille: Limited time Warhorse and Candystripe Hogfish

FishVille is absolutely one of the best games at constantly keeping limited time items refreshed in the Store, and always having something new and exciting to buy with Sand Dollars. The two latest limited time specialty items are the Atlantean Warhorse and the Candystripe Hogfish.

The Atlantean Warhorse is part of the huge Atlantis theme and is a red-colored variation of the previous Atlantean Seahorse. This unique looking seahorse doesn't come cheap though - it will cost you a hefty 18 Sand Dollars. Luckily, FishVille just made a major change that prevents any premium Sand Dollars fish from dying. At 18 Sand Dollars, this boy better be awfully gorgeous! He is available for the next 4.5 days.

The Candystripe Hogfish is indeed a real type of fish, generally found in the Pacific Ocean (and in saltwater reef aquariums around the world). This limited edition fish costs 12 Sand Dollars and will be available for just about a week.

What is your favorite premium fish in FishVille?

Continuing with the limited edition Swiss Alps theme, FarmVille released a Bison on July 8th 2010.

The Bison can be purchased in the FarmVille Market for 18 FV$ during the next 19 days only.

There are two remaining types of Bison still in existence, the North American Bison and the European Bison. The European Bison usually has more fir or woolly characteristics and is the Bison depicted as part of the FarmVille Swiss Alps theme.
